Aso Rock Villa to the surprise of most people received an unexpected visitor yesterday during the Together Nigeria launch organized by the Buhari Support Organisation (BSO). Babachir David Lawal who was the former Secretary to the Government of the Federation sacked in the grass cutting scandal which was brought to the public domain by a senate panel in October, 2017 was among those that attended the launch.
However, the Buhari Support Organisation(BSO) according to the body language displayed seems not to be proud of his visit as the once exalted Secretary to the Government of the Federation was not introduced to the public by the Master of Ceremony. Was that an oversight? Which I doubt, Was he not invited? So how did he get there?
The Together Nigeria launch lasted for almost three (3) hours and Babachir was there all through the launch period and vacated Aso Rock Villa at around 10:30pm after the launch ended.
The presence of Babachir at the Aso Rock Villa during the Buhari Suopport Organisation (BSO) launch has made many political analysts to read different meanings to President Muhammadu Buhari’s statement on reward for hard work and loyalty to his supporters in the 2019 general elections. Should Babachir be expecting a reward in 2019 assuming he decided to join the group of “loyal and hard working supporters”?
