As a result of an increase in product range and organic growth, we are seeking
an experienced individual to strengthen the team and drive the continual
improvement process in our compliance area, as well as to manage the legal
challenges presented by
regulatory and legislative change in the investment
management industry.
Ideal candidates will have 7+ years financial services experience in compliance
and legal functions, preferably within an investment management operation. You
will be a self-starter, with the ability to meet deadlines, prioritise,
multi-task and be flexible in the face of a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
High quality drafting and research skills are essential, as are strong project
management skills and a team-oriented approach.
You will be expected to immediately contribute to our growth strategies via a
combination of your deep technical knowledge of compliance and legal matters
relevant to the industry, excellent written and verbal communication skills and
clear, comprehensive and persuasive decision-making. Appropriate legal
qualifications are essential.
