Our client, a global manufacturer of adhesive materials, is seeking an ACCOUNTANT to join their dynamic team.
This position will report to the Finance Manager.
JOB SCOPE
Assist in the budgetary, forecasting and financial analysis activities of the ASEAN region to meet the needs of the company/group
Assist in the planning and preparation of annual operating and strategic plan
Be actively involved in management discussions relating to business and strategic planning
Initiate, analyze and interpret periodic financial information to be made available to the operation/business managers to facilitate business decision making
Produce business financial reports with key analysis, and monitor performance against budget
Develop and implement initiatives to improve business financial reporting
REQUIREMENTS
Degree in Accounting or Finance
At least 5 years of working experience, including 2-3 years experience in financial analysis activities
Must be adept in consolidating and generating reports
Able to work independently, and a fast learner who is time-conscious and able to work within tight deadlines
Good with numbers; meticulous and possess strong analytical skills with an eye for detail
A team player with good communication skills to interact well with all levels
Able to travel occasionally
Proficient in Excel, Access and PowerPoint
Good working knowledge of Hyperion and Mfg-Pro will be an advantage.
