Bethesda Hospital with an enviable reputation and
gorgeous location on the banks of the Swan River in Claremont is seeking to
employ an experienced Patient Care Assistant to join our surgical ward team to
deliver personal care services to our patients and to support qualified health
practitioners in the effective management of the ward. Your previous experience
in service delivery in a health care setting is essential for securing this
role as is your ability to meet the physical demands of the role.

Key responsibilities of this role include the
provision of personal hygiene services, transportation of patie

with patient positioning, stock replenishment and cleaning.
Essential Criteria:
- Experience working as a Patient Care Assistant in
a hospital environment, with surgical ward experience favourably
considered. - Current Police Check (no more than 6 months old)
and Working with Children Check - Demonstrated ability to work effectively under
pressure with proven organisation and time management skills - Demonstrated sound and safe practice in the area
of patient handling - Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a
team environment - Excellent customer service skills
- Possession of well-developed verbal communication
skills - Committed to delivering quality in health care
service - Understanding and maintenance of infection
control principles - Knowledge & respect for workplace safety
- Possession or near completion of the Certificate
