WHAT
DOES THIS MEAN FOR YOU?
Reporting
to School Principal as part of the Executive team, you will lead:-
  • Key
    business partnering and decision support on the strategic direction and
    key business outcomes of the School;
  • Financial
    Planning and Analysis, which includes leading the integrated planning and
    forecasting process as well as working on key strategic projects;
  • Key
    governance role in relation to budgets and planning as well as steering
    continuous improvement in School operational governance.
The
role provides leadership and oversight to Property Services, Risk and
Compliance, Finance and Administration Teams.

  • Finance
    executive with demonstrated leadership in large, sophisticated educational
    or not for profit organisations

    senior leader be capable of providing clear direction to the team, set

    orientated environment.
  • Proven
    track record of maintaining partnerships, advocacy & influencing at
    senior levels.
  • Experience
    in leading complex change.
  • An

Requirements:

Professional
Requirements
:
  • A
    Tertiary qualification in a finance/commerce-based discipline and CPA/CA
    qualified and/or a Tertiary qualification in Applied Finance and/or
    post-graduate qualification in finance, management or leadership
  • Substantial
    experience in a financial management or executive management role in the
    areas related to the position purpose.
  • Strong
    staff leadership and communication skills
  • Experience
    negotiating and resolving complex matters involving students and families
  • Innovative,
    be flexible and be capable of independent work
  • Coaching
    and mentoring experience
  • Ability
    to be innovative and agile to achieve desired outcomes where financial
    restrictions may apply
  • Demonstrate
    continual commitment to St Stephen’s School vision, values and strategic
    plan.
