Reporting to: Warehouse Supervisor
Duties and Responsibilities
• Prepare orders of equipment for the plant, which includes managing and selecting stock.
• Load and unload delivery trucks.
• Carry out quality control checks and count and record stock figures.
• Be responsible for completion and prompt submission of all related paperwork and the provision of other information as requested.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues, managers other warehouse staff.
• Deal effectively and efficiently with queries and correspondence.
• Be aware of and follow all safety guidelines.
• Ensure accuracy in all paperwork and delivery quantities.
• Assist in other duties requested by the Warehouse Supervisor: coordinate workflow and make sure the warehouse operates efficiently, check inventories, manage incoming and outgoing shipment, plan stock needs, etc.
• Responsible for housekeeping of plant facilities & work areas under his/her responsibility.
Qualifications and Skills
• A-level or 2 year university degree in Engineering or Business Administration or proven experience on the field of activities of the position.
• Problem solving and result-oriented person.
• Good in operational English. Working Knowledge of French and Kinyarwanda will be an added value.
