The International Rehabilitation Council for
Torture Victims (IRCT) is currently recruiting a Project Manager for its
EU-funded project that aims to develop the capacity of Non State torture
rehabilitation and prevention services in Burundi, the Democratic Republic of
Congo and Rwanda, through regional peer supervision and constructive Non-State
– State engagement. This post is part of the Membership Team of the IRCT
Secretariat and will be based in Kigali after an initial induction period in
Copenhagen.

the delivery, overall coordination and follow up of the project’s activities as
well as the redaction of annual reports to the Delegation of the European Union
in Kigali. You will organize workshops and trainings on rehabilitation services
as well as organisational development, and assist partners and associate
partners in their advocacy and fundraising efforts towards international
organisations. As part of IRCT’s international secretariat, you will report
periodically to IRCT’s regional coordinator for sub-Saharan Africa and work
closely with relevant IRCT departments on communications, advocacy and
fundraising. The Project Manager will liaise when appropriate with IRCT’s
liaison offices in Brussels and Geneva. He/she will travel frequently to
partners and associate partners in Kigali, Bujumbura, Uvira, Bukavi and Goma as
well as to rural areas of Burundi, Rwanda and DR Congo. You will ensure that
