CHILD DEVELOPMENT OFFICER
World Vision Rwanda seeks to hire a
highly qualified, dedicated and experienced national for the position of Child
Development Officer. This position will be based in various locations in
Clusters and reporting to the Cluster Manager.

Purpose of the position:
Facilitate the implementation of
project activities in a given Area Program, ensuring that program operations
are effective and sustainable in keeping with the standards of agreed WVI
ministry policies.

Successful candidates will be expected
to facilitate implementation and monitoring of Area Program (AP) operations
including sponsorship by working with community based institutions and local
partners for better wellbeing of most vulnerable children

The major responsibilities include:
•Participate in Implementation,
monitoring of development projects in collaboration with other partners in the
operational area

•Identify and nurture local
partnerships with grassroots civil society organizations, Churches and local
administration working for wellbeing of most vulnerable children

•Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly
and annual reports and plans

• Participate in Operational planning
at Area Program Level

• Support and facilitate, CBOs. Local

•Facilitate networking with government

•Participate in Proposal Writing for

•Organize review, reflection and
learning forums for AP staff, community, local organizations and government

•Participate monitoring of registered

•Keep an updated M&E Database, analyze

• Must have a degree in Social
Sciences, Development Studies, Economic Development or any other field related

• Minimum Qualification required: Must
