This study was carried out
in Sapele community Okpe local government area, Delta State. The topic of the
research is paediatric emergency, paediatric also means children from 0-12
years. From the summary of the study it is agreed that people in Sapele
community are aware of the diseases and emergency that affect paediatric. From
the result obtained revealed that it can lead to complication or long terms
effects of the diseases such as infection, thermal shock, haemorrhage and even
death etc.

method was used to carry out survey research on a group of people and
questionnaire were administered and collected back from respondents, this
information analyzed that paediatric emergency is being ignored by men and
women and do not go for check up and medical advice toward paediatric (children)
diseases and emergency.
