NBC Universal Liaison Assistant, Job Vacancy in London

NBC Universal is a leader in providing entertainment programming to the US and international marketplaces. Its NBC Universal Television Distribution division is responsible for the global distribution of NBC Universal product to all forms of television throughout the world. This includes distribution of current and library theatrical and television product in the pay, free, basic and new media markets.

As Assistant to the CEE Sales Team this role will serve as an apprenticeship into this dynamic industry. They will be integrally involved in the team and provide sales support to CEE Sales Team, as well as administrative support. The right candidate will have the opportunity to become client-facing very quickly and progress to managing their own accounts.

Specific responsibilities –
• Work closely with the Vice President, Liaison & Director, Liaison;
• Work with CEE TVD sales liaisons to prepare availability reports per client/per country, history reports, client grids and all kind of useful reporting;
• Work with internal reporting systems as assigned (SAFE, Sales Tool, etc.);
• Work with TVD sales liaisons & assistants to coordinate and manage client requests;
• Coordinate communication between clients/sales liaisons and Finance and Legal departments in Amsterdam;
• Provide market research and reviews to TVD liaison assistants/executives;
• Organize and update the screener tracking report on a weekly basis;
• Coordinate travel arrangements and schedules for CEE Team;
• Coordinate and schedule meetings for markets (NATPE, MIPTV, LA SCREENINGS, MIPCOM);
• Assist with special projects and perform other duties as assigned;
• Assist with client presentations, meetings and translations;
• Act as liaison between TVD sales liaisons and internal departments (i.e., Marketing, Legal, New Media, Home Video, Formats).

The right candidate will have an interest in building their career in a sales role in the media sector. They will be driven, highly organised, a natural team player and keen to learn.

Specific skills & experiences –
• Graduate in business, or other relevant subject;
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office package – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook;
• Demonstrated attention to detail and organisational skills;
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, work to tight deadlines and under pressure;
• Great interpersonal skills;
• Ability to work across multiple time zones & territories;
• Ability & willingness to learn new computer systems.
