Should have a
minimum of university Bachelors Degree in Law, Economics, Social Science,
obtained from a recognised academic institution with a focus on Gender
Analysis, He/she should have at least 5 yrs relevant experience including in
Gender analysis, Ability to promote gender justice and address gender based
violence within the framework and concepts of human trafficking, Excellent representational
skills including ability for public speaking, negotiation and Advocacy skills,
Ability to facilitate group meetings and to conduct groups trainings Computer
proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Power point, Willingness to do field
work, Willingness and ability to work with all faiths
Assist partners in
report writing, Prepare contracts and disburse funds to partners, Liaison and
networking with Government Line Ministries and their focal points, Assist
in implementation of project activities, facilitate and conduct trainings,
Provide professional advice to local partners, particularly conceptual support
on the issue of Gender based Violence and Prevention of Human Trafficking,
Responsible for project budgeting, monitoring and reporting, Oversee the
analytical input into in-depth country studies based on the Social institutions
and Gender Index, including the preparation of background papers, development
of conceptual and methodological frameworks and analysis of the results,
Overall responsibility for the project management and coordination, hereunder
carrying out various substantive, organisational and coordination tasks
Main responsibility
to coordinate the Gender Justice programme which has two components and these
are the Prevention of Human Trafficking and Gender Based Violence projects
