Introduction 
The Malawi-Liverpool-Wellcome (MLW) Programme (http://www.mlw.medcol.mw)
is an internationally recognised centre for research and research training,
funded by the Wellcome Trust in collaboration with the University of Malawi,
College of Medicine (COM). MLW would like to engage the services of
competent and dynamic individuals to work within the Clinical Research
Support Unit (CRSU), a department which is taking an increasing role in support
of the many research activities the organization is involved with, in the


following role:

Clinical Trial Pharmacist -1 post, based in Blantyre,
one (l)-year contract with possibility of extension.
Job Summary 
This position which will be reporting to the Lead Pharmacist, expects the posts
holder to have oversight in managing investigational medicinal products and
concomitant drugs in accordance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and Good
Pharmaceutical Practice (GPP) and in line with applicable regulations for
studies hosted at MLW. He/she will be managing key regulatory documents and
pharmacy files for the studies and ensuring a coordinated implementation and
closure of the approved study protocols in accordance with the applicable
Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and ICH-GCP standards. For this particular
position, recent graduates with a Degree in Pharmacy are strongly encouraged to
apply.
