Black Cat Blades is an established producer of ground engaging tools for the road maintenance, construction and mining sector. Our prime focus is manufacturing superior blades in a work environment dedicated to safety, continuous improvement, employee involvement and customer satisfaction.
We are currently seeking an Industrial Electrician. Experience in the steel industry, fabrication, automation, panel building and PLC troubleshooting would be considered an asset. This position will be working closely with our production team while maintaining and enhancing our equipment and facilities.
Industrial Electrician
Qualifications of a suitable candidate are:
– A valid Manitoba Certificate of Qualification in an electrical trade
– A valid Journeyperson Electrician License
– PLC troubleshooting and programming using Allen Bradley, and Zelio units
– Knowledge of electrical PM work
– Experience with automation development and implementation
– Ability to work successfully in a fast paced team environment with minimal supervision
– Good interpersonal and communication skills
– Good mechanical understanding and ability
Depending on experience, salary range is up to $31.19 per hour. Successful applicants will be required to work shift work to support our 24-hour operations.
