DEAN Group in
partnership with our client in Guelph, ON is currently recruiting for Full-time Forklift
Operators, starting at $16.00/hour to join their company
during this peak production season.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Movement of finished
product and raw materials within the warehouse (including inventory count)
Loading and
unloading of trailers at loading bays (finished products and raw materials)
Completion of blind
manifest’s (raw m
aterials & finished goods receiving)
Completion of
outbound pick tickets / B.O.L’s
Lock-out and
chalking of trailers at loading doors
Pre-trip safety
inspection of forklift, includes record keeping
Maintenance, upkeep
and charging of electrical batteries
Completion of
documentation as required, e.g.: production reports, locator paperwork,
finished goods movement form
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum completion
of Grade 12
Must provide a
drivers abstract showing a safe driving record
Will be required to
successfully complete the Forklift Operational Test and Forklift orientation
2 years’ experience
on a sit down counterbalance forklift working in a fast paced environment
Experience using RF
scanning gun required
Previous
Shipping/receiving experience would be considered an asset
Ability to provide overtime and call-in coverage on an as needed basis
Required to work 12
hour rotating continental day and night shift schedule
