If you believe you are one of these individuals, we have a temporary (up to 18 months) need for an OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST working in our Occupational Disease and Serious Injury Services area at our head-office location in Toronto, Ontario.

Occupational Therapist

Description and Requirements:
You will partner with the worker, treating practitioner, Case Manager and Nurse Consultant to evaluate and implement case plans to ensure optimal recovery and quality of life. You will provide specialized clinical assessment and evaluation of workers with severe disabilities and provide appropriate recommendations, primarily utilizing external suppliers for community assessments, to coordinate and implement appropriate personal care allowances, aids and therapeutic interventions. You will also participate in and support opportunities for the continuous improvement in the delivery of services, prevention activities and health promotion. This role will reflect its accountability to the worker and work in accordance with the policies, standards and guidelines of the WSIB and the standards and guidelines of the College of Occupational
Therapists of Ontario.

You are a Registered Occupational Therapist, and interpersonal and consultative/advisory skills are key attributes you possess to interact effectively with all parties. You have demonstrated ability and experience in building relationships, working collaboratively with various stakeholders and possess superb communication skills. Fluency in the French language is considered an asset.
