Primary Responsibilities:
1) Plan and Execute Enterprise Operations
Continually look for improvements in efficiency: ensure operations run
efficiently so that time and energy is rather spent towards the organizational
mission;

Coordinate
all product orders from packaging to shipping to customer follow-up;

Procure
supplies within budget amounts as needed;

Develop
relationships with suppliers to ensure highest quality product is received;

Collect/disburse raw materials and/or finished WomenCraft products
according to the established protocol, maintaining accurate records of product
collections;

support to WomenCraft as needed, such as visiting producers, locating raw
materials, collecting supplies and other materials;

2) Provide logistics support for financial systems
Streamline
banking operations, eliminating unnecessary trips to the bank and minimize bank
fees;

Organize
all payment requisitions, receipts and other documents in a secure, efficient
manner;

Participate in management, Quickbooks and Microsoft Excel trainings;

artisan financial assistant in basic financial systems.

3) Maintain the WomenCraft vehicle
Drive
safely and responsibly at all times, never driving under the influence of
alcohol and obeying all driving/traffic and parking rules and regulations;

Inspect
vehicle prior to and after official WomenCraft travel;

Qualifications:
Tanzanian/East African Nationals eligible to apply;

Extensive
experience in vehicle operation and maintenance;

Job Length and Location: This is a full-time
position based in Ngara district, Kagera region, Tanzania, East Africa. The
contract is one-year, renewable. This position reports to WomenCraft’s
Director.
