locations in Perth metro and country regional areas.
Reporting to the Executive Director the purpose of
your role will be to promote the organisation in the communities in which it
operates. Working in line with the Corporate Strategy you will be
required to increase brand awareness, foster good will with
existing relationships and secure new relationships with community based
organisations.

Your responsibilities will include but not be
limited to the following:

- Developing a Community Engagement
Strategy with an action plan and implementation timetable; - Developing a Communications Plan;
- Co-ordinating organisational staff in
Community engagement activities; - Attending to marketing, public relations and
promotional activities in order to build communications, the
organisation’s profile and public perception; - Writing regular press releases,
newsletters and promotional materials; - Managing marketing programs for key
events and selected projects; - Event management;
- Managing community relationships via
identification of key influencers, fostering positive relationships,
negotiating key partnerships, joint events and representing the
organisation at key regional and industry events.
Your proven business development skills and
previous community engagement experience is essential to your success in this
position.

Relevant tertiary qualifications, advanced
communication skills both written and verbal combined with your ability to
drive momentum and a National Police Clearance Certificate are also
requirements for this position.
