The Willow Foundation is a national charity providing uplifting and empowering special days for seriously ill 16 to 40 year olds. With a wide range of activities to promote, the charity is looking for a PR Officer with primary responsibility for PR across all activities.
PR is vital in helping us communicate our message, both in terms reaching out to potential beneficiaries of our service and to prospective fundraisers at all levels.
Part of a small, busy and friendly communications team, the varied workload involves targeting national media for high profile events, regional media for lower key initiatives and everything in between. Building and maintaining relationships with the media, copywriting for internal publications, online PR and social media are all requirements for the role.
We are looking for a creative PR Officer for nine month maternity cover. Ideally with at least three years experience working in a communications/marketing environment and managing a varied work load under pressure of deadlines.
