Wells Mountain Foundation Scholarship for Students of Developing Countries

The
Wells Mountain Foundation offers scholarship for developing countries students
in earning their first diploma or bachelor’s degree. ETE scholarships
range from $300 USD to $3000 USD annually and are provided throughout the
undergraduate education of the recipient.

WMF
Scholars study for degrees ranging from medicine to engineering. WMF encourages
applications from those interested in pursuing degree

s that will best help
their local communities – medicine & health sciences, community
development, law, education, social work, business, information technology, agriculture and engineering.

Wells
Mountain Foundation (WMF) has as its focus education, which we believe is
the key building block to success in all other
endeavors, literacy, the essential tie to the knowledge contained in
the written word, and community, the core entity, just beyond the
family, critical to building a compassionate and effective society.

Scholarship is available for pursuing first diploma or Bachelor’s degree
programme.

Scholarship is provided to learn any of the courses offered by the university.

Scholarship
Award:
ETE scholarships range from $300 USD to $3000 USD annually and are provided
throughout the undergraduate education of the recipient. While our maximum
scholarship is $3000 USD, we rarely award this high an amount. Our average
scholarship amount is $1400 USD. The scholarship may be used for: • Tuition and
fees • Books and materials • Room rent.

Eligibility: The following
criteria must be met in order for applicants to be eligible for scholarship:

A
student, male or female, from a country in the developing world, who:
Successfully
completed a secondary education, with good to excellent grades
Will
be studying in their country or another country in the developing world
Plans
to live and work in their own country after they graduate
Has
volunteered prior to applying for this scholarship and/or is willing to
volunteer while receiving the ETE scholarship
May
have some other funds available for their education, but will not be able
to go to school without a scholarship
Submits
a complete, legible 2016 application in English (please proof-read).
Because we receive so many applications, incomplete applications will not
be considered.

Admission Requirement

Entrance
Requirements: Applicants must have successfully completed a secondary
education, with good to excellent grades.

English
language Requirements: Applicants from outside the home country will often need
to meet specific English language/other language requirements in order to be
able to study there.

to Apply: The
mode of application is online. If you qualify, now is the time to apply
for this exciting opportunity! Since 2005, we have supported more than 175
students worldwide. Please note that in our recent years, we have only
been able to select approximately 3% of applicants to become a part of this
program. The number we select is based solely upon limited funding, as
nearly all applicants are extremely deserving. As our organization grows, so
will the Empowerment Through Education program. We encourage you to apply AND
to continue searching for additional ways to finance your education.

There
