business with Sydney clients and achieve strict revenue targets across a number
of Sydney guides.

promotes outstanding labels & independent retailers, galleries, cafes &
restaurants in urban villages using maps through print publications, web and
mobile technologies. The business’ core focus is fashion, design, art, food and
lifestyle.
Formed in 2006, Urban Walkabout has established itself in Sydney, Melbourne and
Perth as the curator of each citys’ villages retail and lifestyle experiences –
we feature outstanding shops, cafes, restaurants, galleries and local talent
and package the information via an online directory as well as pocket size
guides with cleverly designed maps to encourage individuals to go out and
explore the city by foot, and meet along the way the local designers, artists,
business owners and venues that give each village its unique and distinct
character.
Working across their print and online publications, a role exists for an
experienced and highly motivated Senior Sales Manager to join the Urban
Walkabout Team. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will be
responsible for revenue generation from a number of regular clients/agencies
and new business prospects to achieve key revenue targets.
This role will include:
- Effectively managing relationships with key
clients and agencies - Achieving assigned sales targets
- Business development of both existing and
future client & agency relationships
- 3-5 years sales experience in
advertising/sales, preferably in print, magazines or digital - A passionate and enthusiastic attitude
- A proactive and dynamic approach to uncovering
new business - Excellent presentation and communication
skills - Ability to both self-motivate and work as part
of a team - Ability to think laterally and strategically
- A strong interest within design and fashion –
prior exposure to major fashion labels and the luxury category will be
highly regarded

Office (sales spreadsheets) - Proactive nature
