University of Skovde International Scholarships for Master’s Students in Sweden

University of Skovde offers international scholarships
for master’s students liable for tuition fees. The scholarships are
tuition fee waivers of SEK 60 000 / year (50% of the tuition fee). The amount
of the scholarships will be deducted from the tuition fee when applicants
receive the invoice. Students have to be able to finance the rest of the
tuition fee themselves and to cover all the living expenses during their stay
in Sweden. Prior to applying for scholarship students first apply for studies
at University of Skövde. Applicants must also apply for one of the master’s
programmes at the Swedish official online application service University
Admissions. The scholarship application deadline for the master’s
programmes that start autumn semester 2014 (August intake) is March
15, 2014.

Study Subject(s): Scholarships are provided to learn any of the courses offered by the
University of Skovde.
Course Level: Scholarships are available for pursuing  masters
degree level at University of Skovde.

Eligibility:
Students attending a Master’s programme at university.
-The scholarship can only be awarded to tuition paying students
-Candidates with citizenship from countries on the DAC list of ODA
recipients can apply. Exceptions are Category 1
countries (Bangladesh, Bolivia, Burkina Faso, Cambodia, Ethiopia, Kenya,
Mali, Mozambique, Rwanda, Tanzania, Uganda and Zambia) and Albania,
Belarus, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Georgia,
Kosovo, Moldova, Russia, Serbia, Turkey and Ukraine.
Scholarship Open for International Students: The students of

attending a master’s programme at our University. The scholarships are tuition
fee waivers of SEK 62 500 per year (50% of the tuition fee) and the amount will
be deducted from the tuition fee when you receive the invoice. The scholarship
granting criterion is academic merit. The scholarship can only be awarded
to tuition paying students.
Duration of award(s): Scholarships are offered for duration of the program.

How to Apply: First apply for studies at University Admissions prior to
applying for a scholarship at the University of Skövde. You must apply for one
of our master’s programmes at the Swedish official online application service
University Admissions. Then apply for a scholarship at the University of
Skövde by filling in the online scholarship application form (for Category 2)
available on university web page. Please note that you will need to provide us
with the application number you will receive from the website University
Admissions.
Scholarship Application Deadline: The application deadline is March 15, 2014 for autumn semester
2014 (August intake).
