Group are currently seeking both a Civil and Electrical Engineer for work based
in Melbourne on a renewable construction project.
Our client is well
regarded and people focused striving to create a positive change on the way
people view energy, they have recently won a new contract based in Melbourne
and are requiring additions to their team.
Electrical
Engineer Role:
- Perform
electrical engineering detail design calculations - Undertake
feasibility studies and techno-economic analysis - Prepare
high quality, technically correct specifications and data sheets for major
equipment - Provide
technical support for onsite teams - Review
integrate vendor data in detailed design documents and drawings - Perform
site inspections, testing and commissioning documentation
Civil
Engineer Role:
- Interpret
and read relevant technical specifications and plans - Ensure
that procurement is planned with known lead times in mind - Liaise
with internal and external clients to build relationships to assist with
the construction and delivery of project objectives - Drive
subcontractors to achieve time and cost milestones
Skills and
Qualifications
- Engineering
degree - 10+
years experience preferably but not essential in power generation - Ability
to work efficiently and effectively in a team to meet deadlines - Ability
to problem solve effectively - Strong
analytical, literacy and numerical skills - Strong
understanding of Australian and International Standards - Flexibility
to travel to and from site
