Toronto Wildlife Centre,Capital Campaign Manager Jobs in Canada

Position: Capital Campaign
Manager
Organization: Toronto Wildlife Centre
Location: Toronto, Ontario
Capital
Campaign Manager
Toronto Wildlife Centre
Toronto
Wildlife Centre opened in 1993 because there was no wildlife centre in the
Greater Toronto Area, and today remains the only wildlife centre of our kind in
the GTA, and the busiest one in Cana

da. With the mission to Build a Healthy
Community for People and Wildlife, we help by providing a wildlife hotline,
rescue, veterinary and rehabilitation services for wildlife, and educating the
public about wildlife issues.

This
is a big time of change for Toronto Wildlife Centre. Our current building has
been slated for demolition and we have to move. The move will be a permanent
one, to a purpose-built home for the centre. As a result, we are embarking on a
capital campaign to raise the funds for the new facility, and working with a
team of volunteer consultants on the planning phase.
The
centre has a good base of support from the community, and a stable and growing
annual fundraising program. Initial work on the planning phase of the capital
campaign has been accomplished with the help of KCI. Now, with a short timeline
and ambitious goals, we need a strong campaign leader to help us ensure a
success of this project.
