a large market that produces news for print and online audiences.

The successful candidate will
possess sound news judgment, be able to work independently and have outstanding
communication and people skills. The position demands initiative, a flexible
attitude and the ability to work in a team. Strong organizational skills,
attention to details and a commitment to excellence are critical.

Key responsibilities include:
- Generate
story ideas daily - Turn
those ideas into great stories each day - Shoot
and appear in videos when required - Take
photos when required - This
position requires weekend and night shift availability
Qualifications:
- Journalism
experience in TV, newspaper or online mediums or a mix of all three is
required. - Superior
writing skills and news judgment - Proficiency
in photography and knowledge of multimedia reporting - A
journalism degree or diploma or equivalent experience - Willingness
to learn and embrace visual and new media - Bilingualism
(English and French) is an asset. - You
must have a reliable car and a valid driver’s license.
