About AWID
The Association for
Women’s Rights in Development (AWID) is an international feminist organization

collective voice, influencing and transforming structures of power and
decision-making and advancing human rights, gender justice and environmental

journalism, film making, editorial analysis and community building via an

advocates not normally heard in mainstream media and policy-making processes;

those who shape development in both direct and indirect ways, such as policy
makers and donors, with special focus on influencing the post-2015 development
