RE-ADVERTISMENT FOR JOB VACANCY
Rwanda Revenue Authority is seeking to recruit a self-motivated and qualified person to fill the following position:
1. Job title: Taxpayer Education Officer (1 position)
The post is on Grade 4
Main duties and Responsibilities:
Under the supervision of the Senior Taxpayer Education officer, the Taxpayer Education Officer provides and disseminates all information necessary for taxpayers to comply with tax and Customs legislation.
Prepares brochures to be distributed to taxpayers
Design and prepare explanatory notes to be published.
Prepare the practice notice explaining Revenue Administration’s interpretative views on new laws.
Identifies target groups to receive tax seminars in collaboration with service delivery officers in operational departments
Initiate and highlight talking points for special events, open day, dialogues, seminars ,consultative meetings, workshops and conferences.
Examine taxpayers complaints and provide relative information.
Collects all information for workshop related to taxpayer education.
Design and update the teaching manuals
Conceive and update the tax advisory council (TAC) study guide
Visit frequently the Tax Advisory councils country wide.
Facilitate the launching of TAC where they are not yet existing.
Follow up of meetings of tax advisory councils in liaison with Provincial Coordinators
Gathers and coordinates articles to be published on RRA websites,
Participate in the Preparation of taxpayer’s day
Prepares reports following the seminars/workshops/tax clients.
Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Job Specification
Qualification :Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Economics, BBA in Finance, Accounting and Management.
Experience: 1 year
Skills : Ability to communicate verbally and by written in English,French, Kinyarwanda
