Statement of the Problem

Throughout
the world, the highest level of pesticides exposure are found in farm workers,
pesticides applicators amid people who live adjacent to heavily treated
agricultural land. Because farmers and farm worker directly handle 70 – 80% of
the pesticides they are at the greater risk to exposure (Robbins, 2005).
The use
of pesticides has been known to be associated with various Multiple Chemical
Sensitivity (MCS) which vary somewhat from persons to persons, which includes
extreme fatigue, muscle pain, rashes, asthma, difficulty in concentrating,
insomnia, irregular heartbeat, bloating, nausea and threats to agricultural
productivity.
