& Market Development Coordinator (East Africa)
Starke Ayres, a leading vegetable seed
company headquartered in South Africa, with over 135 years’ experience in
agriculture, breeds and supplies competitive varieties of vegetable crops to
the local and international markets. A vacancy exists for a highly motivated
Product and Market Development Co-coordinator who
will be stationed in Nairobi
(Kenya). This role will be responsible for the product identification, commercial
introduction and sales support to customers in the East African Region.
Responsibilities
include:
-Continuously
analyze market trends and determine needs for improved products in the region.
-Execute strategic seed trials and commercial introductions
-Liaise with distributors
-Extensive travelling throughout the East African Region will be required.
Minimum
requirements:
-Horticultural
Degree
-3 – 5 years relevant experience in the Vegetable Seed Industry Computer
literacy — MS Word and Excel
