Our client is located in North Sydney and due to an increase in workflow, they are looking for an experienced mortgage collections & recoveries officer.
Working in a medium sized long standing team and reporting to the Collections and Recoveries Manager, you duties will include:
Duties:
• Contact customers and make arrangements to clear arrears (180 days arrears mortgage accounts)
• Ledger management
• Skip tracing
• Ensure that loans in arrears are followed up daily and reported accordingly.
• Maintain procedures and tracking systems within the department.
• Instigate legal proceedings
SKILLS, ATTRIBUTES AND EXPERIENCED REQUIRED:
• Minimum 3 years mortgage collections/recoveries/litigation exp in Australia
• Skip tracing experience
• Excellent attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills – written & verbal
• Customer service & negotiation skills
• Computer literate – Outlook, Word, Excel
