JOB ANNOUNCEMENT

SFB is recruiting for the following jobs:

Librarian in charge of internal services (1post)
Duties and responsibilities:
– To coordinate all activities concerning Cataloguing
– To coordinate all activities concerning Classifying
– To coordinate all activities concerning Indexing
– Recording library documents/library materials
– Assigning accession numbers to documents
– Updating of library catalogues
– Receiving and recording periodicals

The subsidiary activities are the following :
– Participating in ordering documents
– Receiving and verifying orders
– Stamping
– Labelling
– Participating in establishment of library needs
– Participating in elaboration of library user statistics
– Participating in archiving periodicals
– Stands in for Director of Library while on leave/away
– User services on selected evenings

Required minimum:
Bachelor’s Degree in Library or information science with at least one year experience in Library management.
