Educated to degree level in a development
related discipline, preferably social science, nursing and public health,
Proven experience of at least 3 yrs supporting multifaceted health related work
at local level, Strong experience of community mobilization in MCH, HIV and
AIDS, SRH or related disciplines, Strong experience of facilitating community
led

advocacy, Proven experience of building partnerships and networks with

Be able to provide technical support to
the communities and his/her organization in results based monitoring and
evaluation, documenting, learning and sharing of best practices, Ability to
work on a multifaceted project and be flexible to spend at least 75% of one’s
time in the field, Proven
experience in successful project proposal writing will be good to the
organisation, Matured and able to work with minimum supervision, Post holder
should be able to support and manage all the project activities assigned, Build
synergies with FOCUS/Adventist/Christian AID for purpose of complementarities
in planning, delivery, monitoring, reporting and progress review, Proven
ability to conduct multi-level training and presentations using word, Excel,
Power Point, Proven record in project budget management, financial prudence and
reporting, Experienced in Community and or Health programmes in rural areas,
Able to coordinate community based interest in line with SDA Church guidelines
and principles, Advanced understanding and appreciation of 7th Day
Adventist Church beliefs and values, doctrines and structure of the Adventist
Church
