The Board of The
School of St Jude Ltd invites applications and expressions of interest for the
position of School Director.
The School of St
Jude is a charity funded school that provides a free, high-quality primary and
secondary education to over 1,500 of the poorest, academically strong children
of Arusha region, Tanzania, East Africa. The school, located across three
campuses, also provides boarding for 1,000 students, employs over 400
Tanzanians and welcomes approximately 50 international volunteers each year.
St Jude’s is
entering an exciting phase of growth and strategic change. We are looking for
an experienced and passionate educational leader to guide The School of St Jude
in the implementation of its strategic plan. You will provide vision and
professional leadership while overseeing the day-to-day management and
administration of the entire school.
You will have
previous experience within a senior management role at an educational
institution and will be excited to utilise your experience leading change and
working with local and international stakeholders to make a positive impact on
the state of education and poverty within Tanzania. You have a proven track
record of effective financial and marketing management and will enjoy the
challenge of motivating, inspiring and building capacity among a diverse staff
group.
