Save the Children ‘s origins lie in emergency response and it has remained central to our work ever since. Our approach integrates our emergency and development work, through the medium of our country programmes. With the increasing frequency and severity of emergencies world-wide the organisation is in the process of increasing its capacity to support programmes in both sudden onset and chronic emergency situations.
Emergency Response Personnel (ERP) staff play a key part in Save the Children in this strategy.
This is a great opportunity for a committed individual looking to develop a career in the Humanitarian sector in the area of Human Resources . It will enable you to gain a thorough understanding of how a busy HR Humanitarian Department operates by supporting the Humanitarian HR Coordinator in their day to day responsibilities.
During this time, you will attend Save the Children ‘s compulsory induction courses to get a wider understanding of how we work practically and theoretically in emergencies.
