Orphans and Vulnerable Children (OVC) Advisor – 1 post
– Blantyre
Reporting to the Deputy Chief of Party, the OVC Advisor will work to ensure
that programme management and quality assurance systems are in place, working
and are aligned to the SCI Malawi Country Office systems as well as support
capacity development and mentoring of partners, She/he will provide technical
expertise to build the capacity of programme implementers and key actors within
systems of care and support as well as enable them to effectively address the
unique and multi-faceted needs of OVC, She/h
e will ensure quality, timeliness
and efficiency of project activities relating to OVC and how they fit In with
the overall program
Applicants should have a masters Degree or higher level qualification in public
health, international development, social sciences or any related field with at
least 7 yrs of professional experience designing, implementing and managing
large, complex projects with multiple partners working on issues related to OVC
and caregivers, capacity building/strengthening and setting technical direction
to mitigate HIV/AIDS in developing countries
