Rwanda Natural Resources Authority (RNRA) Jobs Vacancies in Rwanda

Rwanda Natural Resources Authority (RNRA) is a Government Institution
established by the Law N° 53/2010 of 25/01/2011, with a mandate of ensuring the
management and promotion of Natural Resources including Water.

In the framework of implementing its Water Resources Management Strategy,
RNRA started the implementation of a project on “rainwater harvesting in
high density areas of the Districts of Nyarugenge, Gasabo, Kicukiro, Musanze,
Nyabihu and Rubavu (RWH)” financed by the Rwanda National Fund for Environment
and Climate Change (FONERWA), over three years from January 2014 to December
2016.

RNRA would like to recruit 3 staff on the above mentioned project: one
Project Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist and two Field Officers.

Duties and Responsibilities

Minimum qualification and experience

1

Project M&E Specialist

1

– Coordinating and ensuring the implementation of the Project M&E
plan;

– Supervising all studies under the Project, related to M&E;

– Supporting the effective reporting of the project activities,
procurement and budget execution;

– Facilitating stakeholders participation in M&E

-Masters in Project Management, Planning and Development or related fields
with 3 years of working experience; or Bachelors Degree in Management,
Statistics, Civil,

Water and Environment Engineering or related fields with 5 years of
working experience in the domain of project/Program Monitoring

 Field Officers

2

–          Supervising field
activities of contractors and Partners and ensure the high quality of works,
services and products;

–          Participating in
raising awareness and mobilizing on the project activities;

–          Providing
necessary technical support to the targeted Districts and beneficiaries

–          Bachelors Degree
in Civil Engineering, Water and Environment Engineering or related fields

–          Having a Driving
Licence with category A

–          Willingness and
ability to conduct frequent field works in the Districts named above
