- Experienced
diamond consultant with extensive exposure in sorting and valuation of
rough diamonds, checking stones for the best size, purity, clarity, shape
and positioning of imperfections in rough diamonds to determine a true
valuation - Hands-on
skills in purchasing industrial rough diamonds - Expert
in maintaining high standards of quality control to establish the ideal
cut criteria from rough to polished - Skilled
in estimating rough, wholesale and retail value of diamonds, following
pricing guides, market fluctuations and other relevant economic factors - Knowledgeon
the polishing process of the rough diamonds including skills to seek out
imperfections in the stones and target weights that are achieved to
extract the best value from the rough diamonds
Requirements
- O’Levels
Certificate or equivalent - Certificate
in Diamond Polishing - Certificate
in diamond planning and marking - Minimum
of 5-10 years experience in purchasing Rough Diamonds in African Continent
(For example: Angola, Sierra Leone, Botswana, Congo, etc) - Knowledge
of all kinds of gems and usage of equipments
