Description:

Established in 1970
by the Committee for Postgraduate Studies in the then Department of Law (now
known as the Continuing Legal Education Committee). The scholarship objective
is to encourage innovative legal research at the University of Sydney and is
awarded based on academic merit and quality of the proposed program of research
detailed in the application.

Duration
of Awards:

Each scholarship in
the first instance shall be tenable for one year in respect of a Master’s
degree, and two years in the case of Doctoral degrees, with the possibility of
an extension upon application in suitable cases.
