Reliability of the Instrument

After the validation, the instrument was tested
for reliability. The test-retest method was used, whereby the instrument was
administered to 20 persons outside the study area and the result recorded.
After an interval of two weeks, the instrument was given to another 20 persons.
The results of the two instances were found to be related, hence the instrument
was said to be reliable which means that it measured what it intends to
measure. Based on this, the supervisor then approve it to be used.
