Securing media coverage can involve several separate steps, from identifying suitable publications to preparing content and coordinating its submission. Public Relations Portal (PR Portal) has brought those parts of the process together within a digital platform designed to help individuals, creators and businesses pursue media placements on a recurring basis.

At the center of the platform is a monthly subscription model built around ongoing publishing rather than isolated publicity campaigns. Members can establish preferences based on their industry, target geography, audience and publicity goals, creating a profile of the types of opportunities they are looking to pursue. Jade AI, PR Portal’s AI assistant, can then use those preferences to recommend relevant placement opportunities available through the platform’s marketplace.

PR Portal currently provides access to more than 1,000 publications worldwide. Opportunities within the marketplace are not limited to conventional press releases and can include contributor articles, staff articles, print features, television segments and social posts. This gives members the ability to consider different forms of media exposure while using the same platform to manage the process.

Content preparation is also incorporated into the experience. After selecting a publication opportunity, members can use PR Portal’s built-in editor and AI assistance to prepare their story. The completed content can then be reviewed and approved by the member before it is submitted, keeping the customer involved in the process from initial media discovery through to final content approval.

“Many businesses have important stories to tell but do not always know where to start or how to reach the right media outlets,” said Chris Collins, founder and CEO of PR Portal. “We created PR Portal to make publicity more accessible and easier to navigate. There are founders building companies, creators growing audiences and organizations doing meaningful work every day, but getting those stories in front of a wider audience can still feel unnecessarily complicated. We wanted to create a clearer path between having something worth sharing and actually getting that story published. Instead of treating media coverage as something a business pursues once and then moves on from, PR Portal is built around the idea that publicity can become a regular part of how a brand communicates, shares its progress and builds a public presence over time.”

The recurring nature of that process is supported by PR Portal’s subscription structure. Subscriptions include a placement guarantee as defined in the company’s terms. If submitted content is not successfully placed in the publication booked by the customer for reasons within PR Portal’s control, the customer may choose either a full refund of the amount paid for that placement or a replacement placement in an equivalent publication.

Monthly subscriptions start at $149 and include an allocation of platform credits, which members can put toward additional publication opportunities available through the marketplace. By combining media discovery, AI-assisted content creation and publication placement coordination, PR Portal provides a single environment through which members can identify opportunities, develop their stories and pursue recurring media coverage.
