Reliability of the instrument

The instrument was subjected to reliability test using
the test re-test method. In doing this, the instrument was given to 10 persons
selected outside the study group and the results were recorded. This process was
repeated after an interval of one week by administering the same instruments to
other 10 selected persons selected outside the study area and their responses were
recorded. The two results were correlated using the Pearson’s Correlation
Co-efficient. The result of both administrations were found to be related,
hence the instrument was said to be reliable.
