owned and operated IT Services Company who are looking to engage the services
of a Network Engineer on a short to medium term contract basis. This role will
involve a nice mix of technical project work and BAU suppo
rt. This is an
initial 3 month contract that could extend for a further 3 months.
The purpose of your role is to provide technical support for Cisco Voice
products, dealing with technical escalations, Designing new Networks for
clients. Your skills should be focussed around Voice (Multiple vendor’s kit),
Cisco Unified communications and Telephony.
Your duties will include:
• Install, setup, configure and maintain Cisco routers, switches, firewalls and
VPN’s.
• Perform network monitoring, analysis and troubleshooting.
• Advise client’s on their network performance and recommend network
communication solutions based on clients needs.
• Perform network installations.
• Install, Administer and maintain Cisco Call Manager, CME and Unity
Communications platforms.
• Provide troubleshooting, operational, administrative and implementation
support.
Your skills must include:
• Cisco Unified Communications (CME, CUCM, CUPS, UCCX).
• Telephony.
• Strong Cisco Switching and Routing.
• Previous in-depth Network Engineering experience.
• Experience working on Windows 2003/2007 and Linux environments would be an
added advantage.
This is a great opportunity for you to get involved in a project that could see
you through the first half of 2014. In return for your skills and experience my
client are offering a competitive market contract rates ($50 – 70 per hour
+super, dependant on experience).
