Our client is a large, well established and dynamic
homewares related retailer who are a leader in their field.
An opportunity has occurred for a National training
manager to come on board and take control of all training and development needs
for the company.  Whilst this role predominately involves the store level
training, it does also extend to management, and head office staff.
Duties will include:
Development and writing of a

ll training manuals and
updating current manuals to reflect changes within the business.  Manuals
also will include e-learning

Ensure new stores managers are fully trained in all
facets of operating a successful store
Develop and facilitate classroom based training
sessions as the business requires
In conjunction with the Regional  Managers
provide training for  Company Store Staff particularly in relation to
Customer Service, Sales, Product and Induction.
Regularly update Store Operations Manuals, 
and Store Staff Induction Manual.
Develop and maintain training register for all
staff.
In conjunction with the Marketing and Merchandise
Teams, create marketing campaign training modules.
In conjunction with the Merchandise team, develop
product guides and product training.
Oversee administration of Staff Incentive program.
Set up training schedules and book all relevant
resources.
Prepare all materials and training room for
training sessions.
Keep abreast of new training initiatives. Recommend
improvements to current training where appropriate.
Prepare monthly reports and budgets as required.
Present at State, National Meetings and Conferences
as required.
Interstate travel as required
Supervision of one direct report – training
administration assistant.
Candidate requirements:
It is absolutely essential that the successful
candidate have a current and sound background in training within a retail
speciality store environment.
Relevant Training qualifications are also
essential.
A proven track record of working in store
management within retail will also be preferred
