The role of Senior Accountant reports direct to the Financial Controller and
provides the business with support across, management, financial, regulatory
and statutory reporting. In addition the role also has close interaction with
operations, IT, legal and sales. With supervision of a junior, the role also
provides the opportunity to develop managerial skills.
We envisage that the Senior Accountant role will represent the ideal
opportunity for CA/CPA qualified accountants who are looking to gain greater
exposure to business partners and ultimately the decision making process.
Our client deems this a critical appointment and will be highly selective when
deciding who to interview. Minimum requirements for the role:
- APRA reporting experience essential
- CA/CPA qualified
- Minimum of 5 years financial accounting
experience with an Insurer - Life or general insurance expertise essential
The role is offered as a 10 month contract to cover maternity leave. As the
business has some exciting plans for growth there is the possibility of a long
