Become the Manager
of our key senior technical resources in a 24×7 support team providing vital IT
systems support to emergency services including frontline ICT services for
police, fire and ambulance;
Know that you job
makes a difference to the community by empowering frontline staff to do their
job effectively in disaster events and emergency situations
- Provide
expert technical leadership and mentoring to a large group of ICT
professionals involved in the operational support and maintenance of a
diverse range of applications, databases and servers in multiple data
centre facilities infrastructure. - Perform
human resource management including workload planning to ensure adequate
resources are available to deliver operational support and maintenance
services to agreed Service Level Agreements. - Prioritise,
schedule and delegate competing deliverables across services including
incident resolution, problem management, service request fulfillment,
change management and projects. - Perform
continuous performance management of staff against agreed performance
plans to ensure continual professional development and to address
under-performance promptly. - Actively
participate in the identification and management of Command and Control
Centre related risks and issues. - Facilitate
skills transfer and training within the Systems Support and Response
environment. - Perform
continual process improvement to ensure efficient and effective local work
practices.
