Popular e-Learning Holdings Pte Ltd is a subsidiary of Popular Holdings Limited and is a provider for e-Learning solutions and ICT training services to local schools. We are looking for dedicated Freelance Assistant Media Instructors to join our team to take up the following positions:
Contract ICT Trainer cum Executive
North
Responsibilities:
You will be assigned to be stationed in a local school to provide quality ICT training and solutions.
This will include:
• Develop and conduct ICT training and workshops for students, teachers and school staff
• Conduct ICT trainings for technology based clubs and competitions for students
• Provide basic ICT hardware/software assistance to teachers, school staff and students
• Provide support for e-Learning portal training for students and teachers
• Assist in multimedia projects assigned by the school
• Provide support for other ICT related duties assigned by the school
• Manage and execute ICT projects, implementations and day to day operations involving technology
• Procure ICT infrastructure and services (Through GeBiz Catalogue, ITQs)
• Monitor ICT budget expenditure
• Manage ICT inventory and loan system (Hardware and Software)
• Propose solutions for ICT challenges in teaching and learning
• Propose new technologies for teaching and learning based on MOE’s directions and school’s needs (Baseline ICT, By(i)tes, School Niche areas)
• Liaise with vendors to source and manage ICT infrastructure and services
Requirements:
• Must be able to commit full time during the period of August 2012 to November 2012.
• Minimum Diploma in Information Technology/ Multimedia/ Computer Studies or its equivalent
• 2 years of training experience. Those with experience in teaching ICT skills in local schools/ institutions will have an added advantage.
• Must be able to confidently use Photoshop to design posters, brochures, banners and other print design materials.
• Must possess good presentation, communication and written skills in English
• Confident, willing to learn and is passionate about teaching children and adults
• Have an understanding of the following skills and software:
o Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access)
o Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Flash)
o Designing skills for posters and banners
o Photography Skills
o Basic Video Production and Editing
