Karongi, Kirehe, Huye, Gisagara and Nyamagabe.Plan International Rwanda has
entered into partnership with UNHCR and other partners to implement Sexual
& Gender Based Violence Responses and Child protection in all Refugees
Camps across the country.

Objective and Scope of the Work

This
call is meant to seek expressions of interest from competent legal companies
capable ofadvising and representing Plan International Rwanda in arbitration,
litigation as well as any other related legal matters the organization will be
faced with at any time and wheneverthey are requiredto do so.

The
legal company services are expected to be but not limited to:

- Providing
legal advices on legal issues pertaining to day to day activities of the
organization - Reviewing
of legal documents such as MoUs, agreements and contracts, - Initiating
or reviewing pieces of legal and administration instruments required to
support the mission and objectives of the organization such as Internal
Regulations, Manuals, Policies, and Standards Operating Procedures and
Internal memos. - Representing
Plan International Rwanda before litigation courts, labor inspection or
arbitration panels asthe case may be, and whenever required by the
Management - Providing
any other assistance of legal nature as may be required by Plan
Management.

Legal Company qualification and experience
Legal Company qualification and experience
- Proven
qualification in any of the following fields of Law: Labor law, Commercial
law, Tax Law;Corporate Law;Insurance Law; - Companies
Legal Advocates must have either a first Law Degree (LL.B) with a proven
experience of not less than ten (10) years’ legal practice in above
mentioned respective fields of Law. - Or
A Master of Laws (LL.M) with specialization in any of the above mentioned
fields and a proven experience of not less than five (5) years’ legal
practice in respective fields of Law - Certificate
of membership (members in Rwanda bar Association) - The
legal company must have an office easily accessible and located in Kigali
with an effective secretariat opened during working days and hours - Bidders
must have and provide their full address including mobile telephone
numbers, email addresses as well as Post Office Boxes as part of their
bids.

Remuneration and other expenses
