Our client is a
mid-sized and long established multi-discipline building services engineering
consultancy with an ever expanding project workflow across the commercial,
industrial, retail, health care and institutional arenas. With a focus on
growth, resulting in the acquisition of new clients and thus strengthening
their project pipeline, a position has become available for a Mechanical HVAC
Engineer initially on a Contract basis.

The Role…

Reporting to the
Director / Mechanical Manager, you will be exposed to a broad range of projects
ranging in size and intricacy. You will be tasked with the preparation and
review of detailed designs for multi-discipline projects, ensuring they meet
relevant codes and standards. You will be responsible for financial reporting
and management of projects from the design proposal stage through to tender
submission. You will manage key client relationships, coordinate all
documentation and work closely with other disciplines.

Candidate
Requirements…

You must hold a
tertiary qualification in Mechanical / Building Services Engineering with
approx. 5 years’ experience within a consulting environment. You will be
proficient with AutoCAD, exposure to REVIT is advantageous. You will have an
advanced understanding of thermal modelling, be able to accurately produce HVAC
calculations and ensure designs conform to relevant Australian Standards.
Excellent communication skills and an outstanding work ethic are essential.

The role will be on
an ongoing contract basis, and the office is centrally located.
