My clients are highly established global tier 1
design consultancy who have an office here in Sydney. This particular division
– Highway maintenance are looking for an experienced Civil Engineer with
exposure to highway projects and RMS guidelines.

Roles and Responsibilities of
the Highway
Engineer will include

Technical
Design and Design review of Road or Highway, projects
Project
Management of more junior Engineers, Designers and Drafters on a diverse
portfolio of projects;
You
will be responsible for meeting project deadlines, monitoring budgets and
controlling expenditure to meet your targets.
Liaising
with clients, contractors, other consultants and local authorities.
Mentoring
junior engineers.

To be
considered for the role of Highway Engineer, you will

Degree
in Civil Engineering (or other relevant)
8+
years’ experience in Civil Engineering
Ideally
you will have experience for an Engineering Consultancy in Australia on
Road or Highway projects
Strong
technical ability in Civil Design using AutoCAD
Knowledge
of local Government and Service Authority, construction standards,
specifications and processes
Impeccable
communication skills (written and verbal) to aid in continuous interaction
with team members and outside stakeholders.
