The purpose of this
position is to provide daily supervision to a small team of Nutrition
Assistants, to advise senior managers on all operational issues required to
maintain an effective service and to work within a multi-disciplinary team
working with Dietitians, other Health Care Professionals and Food Service staff
to help optimise patient nutritional care by:
- Assisting
the Dietitians in the clinical implementation and daily management of
patients’ nutritional care plans including malnutrition risk screening,
nutrition cart mid-meal delivery and meal time monitoring. - Working
within established procedures and guidelines to perform duties related to
meal and mid-meal provision, collation of menus, managing electronic
reports and participation in quality improvement initiatives i.e. audits.
Remuneration value
up to $70 851 p.a., comprising salary between $56 627 – $62 098 p.a., employer
contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%)
