in Gaborone seeks applications from qualified applicants to staff the position
of Accountant.
Duties
* Prepare, examine and analyse accounting records,
financial statements and other financial reports
* Compute taxes owed and prepare tax returns,
ensuring compliance with payment, reporting and other tax requirements
* Analyse business operations, trends, costs,
revenue, financial commitments, and obligations to project future revenue and
expenses or to provide advice.
* Report to management regarding the finances of
establishment
* Develop, maintain and analyse budgets, preparing
periodic reports that compare budgeted costs to actual costs.
Requirements
* Bachelors Degree in Commerce or Accounting or equivalent qualification
* AAT
* Knowledge of computers especially MS Office
* Excellent oral and written abilities in English
* Be able to work under pressure
* Possess good interpersonal skills, initiative, integrity, flexibility,
adaptability and must be a team player
* VALID DRIVER LICENSE
Experience
*At least 2 years working experience in the field of accounting.
